Dry Patches On Face, Flaky. Applying Liquid Nitrogen. Treatment?
I have a few dry patched on my face. One crusts over and eventually flakes off . This has been going on for approx. 18 years. My Doctor, after a few years, used liquid nitrogen on the one spot ( I had only one spot at that time). My problem came back in a couple of years, and she used the liquid nitrogen again. It came back but we were moving and my new Doctor had it removed surgerly and said it was not cancerous. That was 4 years ago. The other day, I had that spot and 4 others ( which had not crusted over ) treated with liquid nitrogen.
My questions are, what is the problem, what treatment would you advise and will it come back again.
Hello Welcome to healthcare magic forum. Thank you for your query I understand your concern regarding your skin problem. It look like viral warts -plane warts. We have to find out the reason for it. Skin biopsy from the lesion is very useful for it It is better to consult other dermatologist for proper treatment plan and opinion. Removal is good option but can not try every time and without knowing the exact condition. Chance of cancer is very less. For me it is very difficult to comment specifically without physical examination. Avoid skin trauma by any mean as it may spread the lesion.
I hope I answered your question. Regards
