Dull Pain In Chest, Strain In Left Hand. Taking Zeptol For Focal Gliosis. Treatment?

Sir, Its about 45 days that I am having dull pain in left region of my chest. The pain occurs few times a day and last for few seconds to few minutes.some times I feel strain on my left hand .My ecg and echo reports are normal. Renal profile is normal.CBC, thyroid also normal. What could be the reason? What should I do next. Also I am having focal gliosis on right temporal region and taking zeptol CR-400 BD

Thanks for writing your query to us.
Zeptol CR (carbemazepine)is an antiepileptic used to control epilepsy. It has got many side effects & one of it is abnormal heart rhythm commonly called as arrhythmia. Since you have being taking zeptol CR 400 BD , i would advise you to get your serum (blood) levels of carbemazepine. If it is high than its dose needs to be reduced & also get your ECG done during the episode of chest pain. ECG done when you dont have chest pain will not pick up the abnormality of heart.
