Is Dizziness And Tinnitus Sign Of Foci Of Gliosis?
I am 36 years old and have been suffering from dizzyness and tinnitus and accompanied ny vomitting and nausea since 2009. I have seen an ENT specialist and had various test for my ears but they are ALL NORMAL. I had MRI recently and result showed that I have scaterred white matter signal hyperintensities within the white matter frontal lobes bilaterally which are more than would be expected for my age and it likely represent foci of gliosis. The radiologist said the appearance is sometime seen in patient with migrain. What are the signs and symptoms of a person with foci of gliosis? What are the treatment?
The symptoms seem to be related to benign paroxismal vertigo which is an issue of the inner ear. I suggest to use Meclizine hydrochloride three times a day. I also suggest to avoid salt in the diet. If the symptoms continue,I suggest to follow up with a ENT specialist.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
