My ESR is 50 and my CRP is 17 - I am 34, they have been high for over a year now. I have only just seen a Rheumatologist - he has carried out further bloods immology etc and they have also come back as abnormal - he has requested to see me this week - I am really worried as was ment to be seeing him in March - what illness could it be ?
SLE is one of the common rheumatological illness belonging to a group of disorders called collagen vascular diseases. SLE stands for systemic lupus erythematosis. People with this condition can have skin lesions also.
