Hi Iam 33 years old and 7 months pregnant. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Tachycardia from my last pregnancy almost 5 years ago as my daughter was 8lbs 13oz 22inch, my first child who is 13 was only 6lbs 5oz 19inch...anyway my issue today is that I am noticing for the past few months that when sleeping my ears get numb and are sore, forcing me to switch sides and then that ear becomes numb. OB doc says she has no idea! What the heck is this?
Well explain further ur numbness ..?is there any ringing senasation in ear ?or is it just loss of sensation for a while..ur complaint is very vague ...elaborate it further...

hello,
your complaint of numbness ear is unlikely to be related to rheumatoid arthritis.it may be due to persistent pressure on the pinna while sleeping with head turned to one side.
Numbness and paraesthesias are a common occurrence in pregnancy. This can happen due to swelling or edema around the nerve roots or might even be due to nerve compression . The treatment involves taking methylcobalamin supplements after consulting with your gynecologist.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
