I am a very heavy smoker, more than 35 years, I have to give up smoking because my husband had a heart attack , what is the easiest way to give up smoking?

The NHS are falling over themselves to get people to quit smoking. Get to your GP and he will have all the help you need. Good luck, you can do it.

Hi,Sreekant,thanks for query.You have take hard decision to quit smoking,at a time.There are no ifs and buts.First of all cut down heavily frequency.Then if needed you can use nicotine patch after advise from your doctor,this is to avoid withdrawal symptoms that you might have.It is always good time to quit smoking at any age.Please be firm,make up your mind and go for it.

Hello.welcome.Better late then never.Yes it is not easy to quit any addiction.Develop strong will power and with the help of nicotine tablets or patches you can quit.good luck.
