Echocardiogram Shows Regurgitation In Mitral Valve, Have Chest Pain
Hello, I also did the echocardiogram and 2d echo of my heart and the results were normal.. the only abnormalty was a slight regurgitation in my mitral valve which my doc said was normal... but I still get chest pain ... I can confess that sometimes I don t eat on time and eat late at night... but it is my fear that is killing me the most! Need some advice!

Alone Echocardiogram can not rule out that chest pain is related to heart. Before I answer further I like to know about you age, family history, Height, weight, Diabetic status, Lipid profile etc. because these adds up to Coronary heart Disease.
In my personal opinion if you want to rule out Heart disease you have to go for EKG and TMT(Treadmill test or stress test). If TMT came negative than you have no heart disease. And if it positive than you must do your Coronary Angiography. But lot depends on history and other related factors.
Other cause for your pain may be muscular spasm, Cervical Sondylosis etc.
