Hello and welcome to HCM,
Unprotected sex can lead to transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV infection.
Lymph node enlargement is one of the manifestation of STD.
Other symptoms of STDs are ulcers, discharge, rashes, etc.
If any of these symptoms are associated, you need to take care of that.
Get the discharge examined microscopically, and get the ulcer scraping examined.
The lymph node has to be aspirated to look for evidence of inflammatory change.
Itching may due to infection especially
fungal infection.
Clinical examination of the affected area is required for diagnosis.
You need to consult a dermatologist/ venerologist for this problem.
If you want to confirm or rule out HIV infection, a repeat
HIV test should be repeated after a period of 3 months.
It may be negative in the window period.
In-order to prevent the transmission of STDs and HIV infection, safer sex should be practiced.
Thanks and take care
