Episode Of Microsleep, Loss Of Memory. Will It Happen Again?

what cause of micro sleep while driving,, my son got an accident two weeeks ago and he remenber only when he changes lane and after that he cant remember any thing., he just lucky alive according to the ambulance and police.
my concern is , what if happens again. at the moment i dont want him to drive until some answers. please help, and i need your advise, thank you.

Hello.Do not remember what happened in the accident is normal after a head injury.Your child's doctor should inquire about various causes
of microsleep (intake of antihistamine or anti-anxiety drugs, lack of night sleep apneas....) and request adittional test, it he deems it necessary, to stablish right diagnosis and treatment.Until your child is not explored by his doctor, he should avoid driving, of course.I wish you good health.
