Ever since I was a child I've had this pink mass of tissue at the opening of my vigina. It used to hurt to the touch until I had my first period. I have been sexually active for some years however the tissue is still there and my boyfriends penis goes thru it, not around. I notice the sides tear a little more after each intercourse. I discovered this morning that it is completely detached from the vulva now and still attached to some tissue in the middle that appears to be closed like the outer tissue was. People say that's it's my hymen but I've never seen this on anyone else. My gyne never said anything either.
