Excess Hair Growth Over The Body, On Cysts On Ovaries. Is It Possible To Have Hormonal Imbalance Without Cyst On Ovaries?

Hi Dr Samuel, Is it possible to have hormonal inbalence when my ovaries do not have cysts on them? I had an ultrasound today it appears my ovaries do not have cysts on them! I also had blood test to check my hormones and other things and im waiting for results. I suffer from really bad body hirtusim- excess hair growth all over my body :(.

Of course it is possible to have a hormonal im balance without having ovarian cysts. There are many other factors that contribute to a hormonal inbalance like lifestyle, genetics, infections, etc. Please speak to your doctor about the same.
