Excessive Saliva, Inflamed Veins Under Tongue, Mild Parotid And Sub-mandibular Gland Swelling, Take Zyrtec Regularly. Suggestions?
I have excess saliva , inflamed veins under the right side of my tongue , slight swelling of parotid and submandibular glands with mild discomfort swallowing saliva. Symptoms not present all the time but becoming more frequent. Is on the side of face where my sinuses are often blocked and I take Zyrtec daily. Any suggestions please?
Swelling of glands and sinus problem indicate that it might be because of allergy . Zyrtec contains cetrizine that will reduce allergic symptoms. My recommendation would be 1) avoid dust 2) avoid pollution 3) avoid cold things like ice creams and beverages 4) do salt water gargling thrice daily Consult ENT specialist for further investigation and management if symptoms are not decreasing above mentioned things. Regards. regards.
