I am 40 5'1 110lbs.mother of 8 year old and 19 month old baby. live an active life but no exercise program. i have no health issues but i have experianced tunnel visson followed by a numb left hand onlyand mild headace.this happened shortly after eating plenty of candy. also i am a vegatarian anddont think i do a great job of getting enough protein. is this food related or sign of something more serious
Hi,
This is unlikely to be related to eating candy. This could possibly be a migrane which is a moderate to severe headache associated with a variety of other symptoms which can include altered vision and numbness. Another cause could be a "mini stroke" which has fully recovered. The vision changes and numbness could suggest this as a cause. However, this is a lot less common than a migraine as a cause of your symptoms.
If it happens again I would recommend a visit to your doctor to discuss your symptoms.
I hope this information has been of help to you.
