Experiencing Congestion, lump In Throat & Constant Burp After The Intake Of Meth
I smoke ciggerettes, n i snort pills. i tried meth the other day and ever since i have a lump in my throat which i feel is congestion, but nothing helps, and swallowing pushes it down but it comes back up n i am able to constantly burp. what is this?
Snorting pills and substances leaves the pharynx or the throat vulnerable to infections due to exposure to contaminants that are usually present with these substances. It also causes local inflammation leading to frequent upper respiratory infections which you may experience in the form of congestion. Both of the above may give rise to symptoms that you are describing. A physical examination would reveal the cause of your problem.
It is advisable to visit your doctor for examination and appropriate treatment.
Hope your query is answered. Dr Anjana Rao Kavoor
