Experiencing Discomfort After Using Nicorette Patches To Help Quit Smoking. Does It Leave Scar?
Hi
I am currently using nicorette patches to help me quit smoking. I have experience severe discomfort using the patches, as the itch desperately and leave the area completely swollen once the patch has been removed.
I am putting patches on, in a different spot everyday however have noticed that every patch I have used has left a square mark on my body. Even after 7days, the scar from my first patch remains. Is this normal? Will the scar fade? Should I stop using the patch?
Hello,Thank you for consulting with health care magic. Yes definitely nicorette patches helps to quit smoking, but as you are mentioning that they are causing itching sensation and swelling, it is not normal , it looks that you are having allergic reaction from these patches. You should skip this and switch over to some other anti-addictive drug. Hope it will help you.
