Experiencing Menstrual Cramps And Have Hyper Acidity. Reason For Missed Period?
my girlfriend is almost a month late with her period but she says she feels it coming since she is experiencing menstrual cramps or cramps in her abdomen. she is also having hyper acidity lately, can that be a trigger as to why she is late with her period or does that have any connection to her period? ADDITIONAL NOTE: she has tried right after her 1st menstruation that her next menstrual cycle was already 7 mos after her 1st and she was menstruating for almost a month. and shes always delayed with her cycles. seldom does it come on time.
Hello,
If anyone who is regular with her cycles misses a period, this needs investigation. She should exclude pregnancy first. The symptoms she has may be due to a gastritis or early pregnancy or premenstrual. Ask her to get a home pregnancy test with an early morning fresh sample of urine and follow it up with a trans-vaginal sonogram and see her gynecologist with the results for further management. Take care.
