Experiencing Sharp And Constant Pain In Back And Abdomen While Coughing, Standing Or Walking. Does It Indicate Something Serious?
For the last 12 hours I have been experiencing a very sharp and constant pain in the lower left side of my back ,and for the past three hours i have also had sharp pain in my side and abdomen as well as in my back. the pain increases when i stand, walk, and or cough. the pain has dulled at times but never completely stopped and is sever more than dull. because the pain came so sudden and has lasted for a consistent 12 hours im concerned their might be something wrong
Sudden sharp pain in the lower back more on one side increasing on walking sitting n coughing probably suggest a renal colic doe to a stone in thekidney or it may be due to prolapsed intervertebral disc causing the symptoms n this sudden pain is less common. U may need a good clinical exam n ultrasound abdomen initially n x ray lumbo sacral region

Experiencing Sharp And Constant Pain In Back And Abdomen While Coughing, Standing Or Walking. Does It Indicate Something Serious?
Hi, The pain you are experiencing might be because of: - neuro-muscular - do chest X-ray, - intestinal problems (bloating) - abdominal Barium x-ray - pancreatic/gallbladder problems - abdominal ultrasound. I also advise to get physically checked by your physician to get proper diagnosis and treatment in time. All the best! Dr.Alba
