Experiencing Some Sharp Pain, Feels Numb On My Foot. Took Lecithin And PC Pills. What Could Be The Reason?
I am experiencing some sharp pain on the top of my left foot mainly just behind the toes. It feels like someone splashed hot water on my foot. Sometimes feels numb. At times it is a sharp shooting pain, then dies down, but none the less is painful. I am sure it might be Neuromuscular damage as that foot was infected back a couple months ago. My wife gave me some Lecithin pills 1200 mg and PC pills (phoisphatidylserine 100mg) which helps GREATLY Is there anything else your might suggest. Thanks Robert Kelly
You are correct in your judgement. It is a neurological pain. It may be Peripheral neuropathy or involvement of spinal nerve roots. You need to do Nerve conduction study of the lower limbs and get an MRI of the spine. Consultation with a neurologist may be needed if it is peripheral neuropathy. Orthopedic consultation of spinal nerve root problems.
