I had an MRI of my right shoulder and the findings were as follow: History of the clinidal syndrome of impingment including: a mall subacromial entesophyte; mild osteoarthritis involving the acromioclavicular join; moderate to severe tendinosis throughout the supraspinatus tendon.
Hi, Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic. There are some mild degenerative changes in your right shoulder. Small enthesophyte is a small process arising from your acromion process which is hampering the movement of your supraspinatus muscle and its tendon. That is irritating the tendon and causing inflammation of the tendon suggested by tendinosis. As per the report, these are mild changes and you should undergo physiotherapy which might help you. If the symptoms are not resolved, you should undergo a small opeartion which can be done arthroscopically and get the enthesophyte removed which will give you relief from your symptoms. Hope it sorts your problem and wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards, Dr. Pankaj Nagori Specialist Radiologist
