Extreme Pain In The Leg. Have Arthritits. On Celebrex. What Else To Do?

For the past 10 days I have had extreme pain in my left leg calf area. Have used hot paks and also cold paks to no avail. Saw my dr 4 days ago and said to take Tylenol. I do have arthritis and am on Celebrex but neither have given me much relief. The pain is worse sitting or lying. It is fine to walk on. Any suggestions as to what I can do next??

Hi,

Based on the information provided, prescription given to you is one of the best medicine available is USA, that mostly helps patients, but in your case you may need some stronger medication to avail your pain.

Its ok to walk even if you are in pain as long as you can bear the pain.

ADVICE- consult your physician and let him know that Celebrex hardly makes any difference, and if he thinks you are not abusing the pain medication, you physician may prescribe codeine derivative which may make a difference in pain.
