Eye Exam, Taken Two Eye Drops, Irritation
I had an eye exam today where he put in two different types of drops, one was yellow for a pressure test and the other dilated my eyes. That was over 8 hours ago and one of my eyes is still irritated from this. Is this because I over used my eyes after they were dilated and now they are just tired?

Dear Friend,
A normal eye check includes your eye pressure check and a fundus check. Dilating drops are used for fundus examination and the effect is supposed to stay for a period of upto 24 hours. Please relax yourself you will become comfortable with time and you dont have to take any additional medicine. The other medicine does not have any long lasting effect on your eye. Take care
