Eyes Watering After Wearing Contacts. Contacts New. Possible Reason?
I wear contacts and I put them in on Monday and my eyes stared watering and so I took them out and now my eyes keep watering still. I went to the doctor a week ago about this same problem by the time I saw him it had cleared up so I went back to my contacts and he say my eyes were fine.. Now it has started again. The contacts were only a week old I don't think it is the contacts.
Hi... Thanks for the query.. Just check your CL's for any deposits and also the solution for cleaning whether clear or reaching expiry.. Some times the chemicals in the solution may irritate the eye.. An optometrist can check the CL's for you in doubt.. Or there can be dryness which aggravates on putting the contact lenses on.. You can start using some lubricating eye drops for relief.. Consult the doctor one again to make sure that every thing is ok.. Hope this information helps..Take care..
Hello, Watering following wearing contact lens may be because of problems related to wearing the lens like minor injury to cornea or conjunctiva or because of irritation caused by the contact lens or because of the solution which you are using. If the symptoms persist discontinue using contact lens and do contact your eye doctor again. Thank you
