Face, Neck, Scalp Profusely Sweating During 36 Weeks Of Pregnancy. Normal?
I m 36 weeks and 2 days pregnant. All of a sudden I m getting profuse sweating. Usually in the evening & when I go to bed. I take a small towel with me cuz generally the sweating is just my head (face & neck ). My blood pressure is normal, my blood sugar is normal. I don t feel dizzy or have any other symptoms. I don t even feel hot really. Just my face, neck & scalp will get all dripping sweaty. Is this normal?
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.
Assuming that you did not have this problem before pregnancy, then it is certainly related to being pregnant. It is certainly an uncommon complaint, but in my mind, I would be thinking about:
1. Blood pressure disease
2. Thyroid disease (this could be rechecked)
3. Blood sugar issues
I would recommend taking your blood pressure and blood sugar DURING one of these spells and also asking your doctor for repeat testing for thyroid disease.
I hope that this helps! Good luck.
