I have had a complete thyroidectomy; the parathyroid was retainded. Current level of levothyroxin is 175mcg. Friday s bloodwork: TSH = 0.01; T3 = 3.2; T4 = 1.73 B12 = 560 (1ml B12 every 3 weeksd, IM) Chronic fatigue; Fight to maintain 200 punds (5 foot tall) on 800 calories/day. Appointment with Primary in one month. Any suggestions?
Hello I just read your query and from what you have mentioned it appears that your Thyroid is over corrected and that you should reduce the dose of Levothyroxine to 125 mcg daily. You must try to do gradual exercises like walking or cycling or swimming for your fatigue and weight issues. Hope you find my advice of some benefit.Good luck.
