Feeling Dizzy And Headaches. Had Chiari Surgery In The Past. Are These Related?
I had been to a neurologist a few months ago and states all is OK, also an ent . To check for vertigo . All tests were fine. I feel dizzy or like a drunk feeling often and I get mild headaches . Its very hard to concentrate also at work. I use a computer 8 hours a day. Some days its worse then others but it is every single day I feel like this. Any idea what this may be?. I had chiari surgery in 09
Hi, Thank you for posting your query. Most likely, your current symptoms are not related to Chiari surgery of 2009. These symptoms are suggestive of migrainous vertigo, where headache and dizziness are common symptoms. You would benefit from starting migraine preventive medications such as topiramate, divalproex, beta blockers, etc. Please get back if you require any additional information.
