Feeling Dizzy While Lying Down, Fluttering Feeling In The Head. What Could This Be?
At night, when I first lie own and turn my head to the right side, I get a fluttering feeling that lasts a few seconds and then is gone. Usually it happens only once, but last night it did not happen as soon as I lay down, it came about half an hour later. It felt almost like I was dizzy when I opened my eyes during the episode, and then it went away. It never happens during the day.

Feeling Dizzy While Lying Down, Fluttering Feeling In The Head. What Could This Be?
Hi, Thanks for posting your query. It seems like you probably have a milder form of BPPV (Benign Positional Postural Vertigo). This may be the beginning stage. Check for repeat of the same symptoms. If it happens frequently, get it confirmed by examination by an ENT specialist. You may need anti-vertigo drugs. These are prescription drugs, please get them prescribed by your doctor, if need be. Do not do rapid jerky movements all of a sudden. Drink plenty of fruit juices and fluids orally. I wish you quick recovery. Regards,
