Feeling Like Something Stuck In Throat After Frequent Vomitting During Pregnancy, Causing Right Ear Pain. Suggestions?
Hello, Im in my first trimester of pregnancy and have been throwing up quite frequently for the last month ... recently after a rough night I have been feeling like something is lodged in my throat ... its only at the bottom of my throat on the right side.. and it causing my right ear to hurt... could there be something stuck in my throat
Hi, vomiting in first trimester is ok within limits. The symptoms you are describing can be explained by the acid reflux along with vomitus and this leads to inflammation and swelling in the region of lower part of throat. This gives rise to feeling of something lodged in the throat and referred pain to ear can also be there because of this. Do not worry, just ask your obstetrician to prescribe antacids which can be safely used in pregnancy and things will improve. regards
