General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
The most important cause of tiredness and excessive day time sleepiness is obstructive sleep apnoea due to snoring in night.Other important causes could be lack of VIT B 12, VIT D,anemia, hypothyridism.
You must get a sleep study done ( POLYSONOGRAPHY ) and get tested for above mentioned causes.
Depression could also lead to excessive day time sleep.
Treatment would depend upon finding the cause so consult an internal medicine specialist and seek his opinion.
Thanks
