Feeling Sick For 4 Months, Sleeping More, Feeling Drained. What Could Be This?
Hey for the last 4 months I have had a sick feeling and couldn't eat, lately I have been waking up and finding myself snacking a lot. Then I would feel sick, but not actually being sick. Just recently I've been feeling quite drained and sleeping a lot more than usual but waking up two three times a night. I'm just wondering if you could help
Hello, The most important cause of tiredness and excessive day time sleepiness is obstructive sleep apnoea due to snoring in night.Other important causes could be lack of VIT B 12, VIT D,anemia, hypothyridism. You must get a sleep study done ( POLYSONOGRAPHY ) and get tested for above mentioned causes. Depression could also lead to excessive day time sleep. Treatment would depend upon finding the cause so consult an internal medicine specialist and seek his opinion. Thanks
