Feeling Very Cold. Have Fibro, Hypoglycemia, Pain From Bone Spurs. Are These Related?
I am constantly very cold from mid-afternoon on; my normal temp. is 97.5,but when I feel very cold, it drops by 2 degrees. During the summer when the Living Room was 80 degrees, I was putting on jackets because I was cold.I have fibro., hypoglycemia and pain from bone spurs in my neck. Is it related to any of these? Cheryl
Having a cold sensation could be a symptom related to an underlying diseases condition or simply just a sensation linked to a neuropsychiatric disorder such as severe anxiety. However, your temperature being at 97.5 and dropping only 2 is considered normal, which means you are only having this sensation but nothing is wrong with physiologic system in general. However, conditions such as hypothyroidism could predispose to this cold sensations. Hypoglycemia (if persistent) is a problem on its own which could be related to blood sugar regulating disorder or even thyroid disorder. I suggest you see a primary care physician who can do a complete evaluation, then decide whether your problem requires a specialist consultation or not.
Hope this helps
