Feels Like Ear Drums Moving In Ears, Wind Blowing, No Pain, Fluid Leakage. Causes?
When I tilt my head from side to side it feels like my ear drum is moving back and forth - it doesn t feel like water from the shower or pool, I had that before. This has been going on for a week now, the only thing I have done is riding in a boat, with lots of wind blowing in my ear or sleeping with a fan on. My hearing is fine, no pain, no fluid leaking out.
it is possible that you have developed a block of the eustachian tube ,the ventilating tube of the middle ear which can happen due excessive cold air blowing in through the nose. This causes initially a vacuum in the ear, behind the ear drum causing the drums to be sucked in leading to you symptoms.later you get get earblock and a feeling of fluid in the ear.often there is little pain too.You may try a breath exercise to help open the tube..pinch nose and swallow, then swallow without pinching nose ..several times a day. Please use nasal drops too ,2 drops both sides followed by steam inhaation, twice daily for 5 days and a tab.of cetrizine at night for some days.this usually should relieve your symptom.
