Feels Like Having Sand In Eye, Hurts, Redness, Have Runny Nose, Headache, Chills
I woke up this morning and my left eye feels like sand is in it. It does hurt mild to moderately. there is also some tearing in that same eye and some redness. Don't know if its related but I also have a runny nose just on the left side. Vision is still the same. i do have a bad headache and I have chills. I'm just barely past due for my eye exam. My last exam 2 years ago checked out perfect. I don't have any major medical issues such as diabetes or Hypertention. Just want to know what this possibly could be.

the signs you describe go for a viral infection, probably adenovirus.
The following days you may complain even for the other eye.
It's highly contagious for the other persons also.
If it get worse for the following 3-5 days than better consult a doctor.
