Feet And Frozen Body, Diagnosed To Be Viral Fever, Not Prescribed Medicines. Help?
My son is been having fever all day I ve been giving him medicine every 4 hrs iboprufen and acetaminophen and I noticed he s feet are really cold but his body too hot took him to the doctor today he said is just a virus and there isno need to prescribe antibiotics but the fever gets up to 103.6 what can I do ? Please help

Thanks for your query,
your son is having high grade fever with no other symptoms and is usually viral in nature,
I advise you to give paracetamol every 4 to 6 hourly till fever is below 100F,also do tepid sponging,give him plenty of fluids,coconut wayer,fruit juice so as to maintain proper hydration.I t takes a day or two fir fever to come down.
In case fever continues to be on higher side and he appears sick i suggest you to take him to doctor again.

according to the information u have given , it seems viral flu . it seems u r staying in a v cold place and winters r going on , so it can be possible for hand and feet to be cold and body hot in case of viral flu. Para+ibupro combination work really well also do tepid sponging when fever is there........well observe if any other symptoms are present , or your son develops any new symptom ..........keep me posted
do remember to keep your baby well hydrated that is give lot of fluids and soft diet at regular intervals for the speedy recovery
