Fell Down Landing In My Back. Now Have Pain In The Chest. Hurts When Swallowing, Feel Like Burping. Problem?
I fell earlier today going down the stairs. I landed on my back and went down about four steps. A couple of hours later I noticed that I had a pain in my chest. It feels like there is a big pill stuck in there. It hurts when I swallow and take a deep breath. Also, just randomly. I went and ran outside 2.5 miles earlier and it felt as if I needed to burp and my food was coming up, but it never did.
You had a bad fall down four steps and landed on your back. Two hours later you had pain in chest and it whurts when you swallow and take a deep breath.
As you have run for 2.5 miles earlier I assume you maintain physical fitness otherwise. It looks like you must have sprained a muscle in you chest region. If the pain worsends then please contact your doctor and get a chest X ray done. If its a dull pain and you think that its decreasing with time then ther's nothing to worry. As for the burp, running on a full stomach is best avoided. If you never vomited then evreything is alright.
Hope this helps.
