Fell On Knee, Bruised Ankle. No Pain. See The Doctor?

Hi, 11 days ago I fell over in the road and landed on my knee , it s still a little painful but is getting better.. But, although I never hurt my ankle on the same leg, it is very badly bruised and seems to be getting worse, practically the whole foot and ankle are now bruised.. Should I see someone about it? There is no pain there Thanks

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
From description it seems to be soft tissue injury over ankle and foot.I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. Beside icing and elevating it, you can take anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid putting weight and rest well.
Hope this will helps you. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards.
