Fell On My Knee. Got A Bruise. Started Throbbing, Burning Feeling. Bruise Is Numb. Swollen. Suggestions?

Hello, My question is on Sunday that passed I fell between two boards on a dock. Fell right to my knee. I instantly got a bruise below my knee on right side. Then 3 days later it started throbbing and having a burning feeling. Then a part of my leg by the bruise is very numb. Then I noticed my ankle on right side was bruised and left side seemed to be swollen but neither are sore unless accidently hit. Is this something to be worried about? Thanks for your time.

Hi, the bruice of the knee, and pain persisting after few days also means there must some fracture, or a hair line crack. So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. of the leg as a whole. Though no fracture you are expected to have a plaster caste. Thank you.
