Fever, Body Pain, Chills, Feeling Cold, Sweating, Coughing. Flu?
Hi Doc, My hubby has fever since yesterday. His fever yesterday till last night was only 37.8 to 37.9 but this afternoon it went up to 39.2. He's hurt all over his body including his stomach. He's chilling and feeling cold and sweating. He's also coughing but I think it's all part of his emphysema. Does he has flu or what?
Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query.
This is very likely flu, but it may be any other body infection. Most common are urinary and respiraoty infections so if he has urination symptoms or pain in lumbar area then it may be uroinfection. If not, then this is probably flu or upper resoiratory infection. he should just be aware that it can progress to pneumonia so I sugegst to visit doctor just to rule out this and see is it caused by bacterias maybe and then antibiotic treatment is necessary.
Wish you good health. Regards
