Hi, thanks for posting the question to H.C.M.C.
Ovarian cyst usually lies in groin (just above pelvis) on the both side of abdomen .
Kidneys on both side in lumber region , followed by ureter on both side from kidney, than they ( ureter) reaches in pelvis in
urinary bladder from both side , than urine in bladder and from bladder passes through
urethra at outside.
The rout of urine formation to passing outside is a different rout and nowhere ovarian cyst whether ruptured or as whole intermingle with urine , so pl make one thing clear in your's mind that the blood in the urine didn't relate at all with ovarian cysts.
Fever with chills , rigor, pain in kidney region all are indicative of some kidney ailment.
Since you are feeling pain in the abdomen with above mentioned symptoms the possibilities may be -
1. Renal calculus in one or both kidneys , however U/S of abdomen get but one more U/S required to highlight the K U B ( KIDNEY, URETER, BLADDER) region.
2 . Some infection of kidney ( initial stage) will not reveal in U/S . Might be
pyelonephritis or
Glomerulonephritis.
3. Any other disease of kidney.
Pl get
blood test and urine culture and complete test.
So forget about
pneumothorax but concentrate over the blood in urine.
