Hi, I've had a fever for two days, last night it was at 103 but has decreased significantly to 100.7 today. My lymph nodes are swollen and I've had the chills and sweats my eyes feel strained and now my gums are swollen. Yesterday it hurt to move my neck and my back was extremely achy. I've been diagnosed with mono before but with it I've never experienced swollen gums...should i be concerned that its meningitis? move move my neck
Swelling in the gums indicates inflammation of the gums known as Gingivitis. Bacterial or viral infection may lead to formation of abscess, fever, and swollen gums and lymph nodes. I would suggest you to go for symptomatic treatment of swollen gums of complete mouth scaling and polishing, deep curettage and root planing which removes all the irritants, dental plague and calculus and restore good oral health. Visit to the Physician and get the checkup done.
Hope this helps out.
Regards..
