Fever Treated With Tylenol, Having Wet Cough With Chest Congestion. Medication To Cure?
Hi.., my daughter is 7 a few days ago she had a fever and I treated it with tylenol But now she has a cough and its not a dry cough but sounds wet and I can hear its in her chest (congestion) what would be good to take to get rid of this cough. was concerned about the whooping cough but shes not really have symotoms of it. No serious coughing spell. Thanks
It feels like she had some viral infection and hence the congestion and cough. However if the colour of the sputum is yellow then its worth giving her an antibiotic. If she is 7 an antibiotic like aziyhromycin 200 mg daily for 5 days Also give her steam inhalation to relieve congestion and the expectorate sputum
