DEAR MAM, SINCE YOU ARE SPUTUM NEGATIVE FOR TB, THERE ARE REMOTE CHANCES THAT YOUR CHILD CAN CONTRACT TB FROM YOU.
THIS IS A MODALITY CALLED AS SPUTUM NEGATIVE PULMONARY TB. MOREOVER ACCORDING TO WHO GUIDELINES, WHEN YOU ARE ON EFFECTIVE ANTI TB DRUGS, WITHIN 15 DAYS OF TREATMENT YOU ARE MEDICALLY LABELLED AS NON INFECTIOIUS. STAY ASSURED THAT YOUR CHILD IS PROTECTED AND COMPLETE THE COURSE OF ATT AS RECOMENDED BY THE DOCTOR.
