First, I know this was a really stupid thing to do, and I am wondering if I need to go to my doctor. Yesterday, my ear itched deep down inside. The Q-tip didn't get it so I broke the swab portion off the Qtip and scratched the itch. In the process I accidentally jabbed farther into my ear. Immediate pain and hearing loss. Since then, the ear has been painful and even the outer portion of the ear is tender. When I smile or swallow I feel moderate pain in the ear and down into my neck. There doesn't seem to be any dried blood in my ear per my daughter's non-medical observation with a flashlight and magnifying glass. Advice?
