However, because it has been several months since the incident with the fish bone, it is less likely related to that (although still possible). It sounds like your sore throat is becoming quite severe, and that you are not having any symptoms (such as cough, runny nose, congestion, sneezing) that would suggest and upper respiratory infection (like the common cold). I would recommend seeing your doctor, who can determine if you have a bacterial infection in your throat, which is usually treated with antibiotics such as amoxicillin or others. The pain in your face is strange, and doesn t sound related to the incident with the fish bone. I recommend discussing this with your family physician.
