Flesh Colored Bumps On Pubic Region. No Pain Or Itching. Tested?
Hi, a few months I was worried about a few flesh colored bumps on my pubic region they were there for a few weeks, I went to my gyno and saw the nurse she said it was just from shaving and didn't look like herpes and I get bumps still that look like pimples. Most of them I can pop ( most have a white head). My boyfriend though now currently has a few flesh colored bumps on his region and which he says he's never seen before. They don't itch or hurt? Any idea or do we need to just be tested in case. He's super worried and now I am as well
Flesh colored bumps on the external genitalia can be genital warts. Genital warts are caused by human papilloma virus (HPV). Presence of similar lesions in your partner suggests that these lesions are communicable and most probably sexually transmitted. G\Herpes simplex lesions are fluid filled vesicles. Yes, it is important for both of you to get tested for HPV. HPV infection can cause cancer of the cervix, oral cavity and upper aero-digestive tract. Early treatment with anti-virals can help to an extent. Get a Pap test also to look for changes in the cervical lining.
