Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I have some on and off fluttering in my upper left breast side of my chest . When I lay down I start to feel slightly out of breath and start coughing. There s no pain, but sometimes it feels as if there s some tingling sensation throughout my body especially in my arms and chest. This has been going on for a little over a week and my doctors appointment is about two weeks away. I am trying not to panic but since I don t smoke, and/or eat red meat and I don t drink too much alcohol I am very concerned about this. Last summer my cholesterol was 242 so I started eating more oats and whole grains and jump roping. I don t know what my cholesterol level is now but I m hoping my fluttery feelings is not a result. I recently took a 10 day para cleanse (herbal supplement) and couldn t finish it because that s when the fluttering started. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am 36 years old and I weigh approximately 183 pounds.
Hi , Thanks for the query. I would advice you to get an ECG and also to get your serum cholesterol repeated. Also avoid heavy work . Try and visit your physician as soon as possible.
