Food Smell Coming From Rectum/anus, Feeling Of Air Bubbles, Occurs More During Sleep. Reason?
Hello. I have been having a consistant food smell coming from my rectums/anus. Also feces . I have had a feeling of air bubbles coming from my anus/rectum as well like during sleep and even while sitting down. I have also experienced while bending down i could smell the horrible smell of food or some sort. Ive had complaints of these smells while sleep more often than while awake as well being under emotional stress i get these foul odors. What is going on??

Hi, it appears that you have the psychological problem called the alfactory hallucination, the reason may be that you had some exposure to the foul smells, or it may be due to the burping of the gas due to some indigestion, or gas from the mouth.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe furazolidone, matronidazole, omeprazole, domperidone. BD. for 7 days. Thank you.
