Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past 10 years I have been plagued with a horrible cough that leads to throwing up mucus. Even on a full stomach I only throw up mucus. I recently had a hiatal hernia removed from my esophogus and also a pyloroplasty. This completely cured my reflux but I am still coughing. I take meds for this. Singular and tussinex with codeine. I really wanted to get off of the codeine but I am still coughing a tremendous amount. I've been to every kind of doctor imaginable. Gastrointestinal, ENT, Allergist. Any thoughts.
