Foul Smell From The Anus, Gas Problems, Discolored Discharge. Concerned
Hello, about four months ago, i started noticing this foul smelling orange oily discharge from my anus. it happens for some days and then doesn't for another week or so. i also always have gas during this period but i don't need to use the toilet often. there's also no pain associated with this symptom. Please help me.
I should also mention that i noticed this same discharge about two years ago but it stopped as suddenly as it started only to resume now.
Welcome to Healthcaremagic! After going through the symptoms you have elaborated here, it looks like there might be a silent infection around the anus. ( Peri anal abscess/fistula). The intermittent discharge too is indicative of it. The chronicity of your symptoms and the possibility of this being a subclinical infection makes it mandatory that you have to consult a general surgeon who will be able to evaluate the cause and help you out of it. Hope you get better soon! Take care!
