Fractured Upper Ribs, Collapsed Lung, Discomfort In Upper Back. Had Steroid Injection. Done MRI. Explain Meaning Of Thoracic Spine

I had a four wheeler accident 1 1/2 year ago that fractured right upper ribs and collapsed right lung. Since then I have had discomfort in right upper back area. Mainly under shoulder blade. For about a month the pain has been awful. I had steroid injection on 10-07-13 that helped for two days and know hurting worse and the pain now runs up my neck and I am having dull headaches. I did have MRI thoracic spine that showed Mild Thoracic Dextroconvex Scoliotic Curvature

Fracture ribs will take time to heal about 6-8 weeks but as you have had an accident 18 months before that cant be the reason of your pain.
MRI shows thoracic sine deformity i.e. the spine in your back up to your waist. Again such a deformity cant cause a pain in the neck. Youve had steroid injections for what?
Its better to consult a spine specialist as the deformed spine can be taken care of with exercises and you will feel better
