Hello,
Welcome to healthcaremagic,
From your query i understood that your mother is fever and dizziness.
Pantoprazole does cause fever or dizziness.
Fever for your mother may be due to some low grade hospital acquired infection.
Dizziness may be due to either anaesthesia used for surgery or csf imbalance after surgery.
Both increase or decrease in blood pressure can cause dizziness. Regular monitoring of Blood pressure is necessary after spinal surgery.
So you can continue Pantoprazole with NSAIDS like paracetamol for fever.
If the fever persists for a week or more, do complete blood count, blood culture and antibiotic sensitivity for particular organism.
As many hospital acquired bacteria are resistant to many antibiotics.
Hope this helps.
Take care of your mother.
