Frequent Hoarse Voice, Sore Throat. Pressure In Throat, Upper Chest, Relieved By Drinking Water. H.plyori Test Negative. Cure?

Hi, I've experienced, on and off, a hoarse voice and sometimes soar throat which began after an upsetting situation in the past about 3 years ago. In November 2012 I had a tetanus shot and 2 weeks later experienced quite a bit of itching, no rash, on my torso. About 2 weeks of itching had pasted and the real problem began which is a pressure in my throat/mild trouble breathing due to mild pressure in my upper chest which had been brought on by eating and now actually relieved by eating and especially by drinking water. Wine during meals seems to help immensely. I lost 10 lbs. unwantingly but have managed to gain 5-6 lbs. back and my ability to eat almost what I desire, although my eating habits are healthy. I have been tested for h.plyori as well but came back negetive although I have been surrounded by family members with it. I have recovered most but periodically still have the pressure in the throat/chest sensation. I'm not presently taking any medications but did take nexium for a 1 1/2 months. I'm also considering a gastroenteroscopy. Otherwise, I've always been above average healthy for someone my age says my doctor. :)

Thank you for posting on HCM
From your symptoms it sounds like you are suffering from gastro esophageal reflux & nexium would be best to go back on.
Even though H pylori is negative one can still suffer from reflux - I suggest start nexium first & if it doesn't help in 2-3 weeks then consider gastroscopy but prior to having test done you will need to come off nexium again.
hope this helps
